This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 i.e. Tehsildar, Tehsil-Bidhuna, District-Auraiya to decide the Case No.116 of 2015 (State of U.P. Vs. Sona Devi), under Section-122B of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, pending before the respondent No.2, within stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition)." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that proceedings under Section 122-B of U.P. Z.A. and L.R. Act are pending consideration before respondent no. 2 since 2015. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the Case No.116 of 2015 (State of U.P. vs. Sona Devi), strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
