Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted an exhaustive report in respect of the compliances made in WPA 25257 of 2022. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he has not been handed over with the copy of the report as was directed by the co-ordinate Bench in the order dated 05.06.2023. A copy of the said report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner by the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State. Having regard to the fact that charge-sheet has already been submitted in connection with Singur 2 P.S. Case No.477 of 2022, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. As such, WPA 1586 of 2024 is disposed of. A copy of the report as directed in the earlier order dated 05.06.2023 be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
