The learned counsel for the appellants / petitioners submitted that due to lack of communication, the appeal could not be filed within the prescribed time. 3. The learned counsel for the respondents raised objection to this submission. 4. However, to avoid multiplicity of proceedings, this Court is inclined to condone the delay, subject to costs. 5. The petitioners / appellants are directed to pay a sum of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) to the contesting respondents, within a period of two week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
