The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gurabanda P.S. Case No. 09 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.136 of 2024, S.T. Case No. 391 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila. On 25.03.2024, the husband of the informant Jawahar Munda went missing. On 31.03.2024, his dead body was recovered. It is alleged that unknown person had committed his murder. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of Puja Munda. It was also submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from his possession. It was finally submitted that co-accused Mansha Munda has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.10776/2024. Mr. Satish Prasad, learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila, in connection with Gurabanda P.S.
