Following prayer has been made in the writ petition : "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to consider the claim of petitioner thereafter she may be paid of Rs.5 lacs under the scheme "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durgathana Kalyan Yojna" due to accident of her husband namely Phoolkaran, within stipulated period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner be directed to be decided within a specified time frame. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that respondent no.2 has power to decide the application. 4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner regarding compensation under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photo copy of the representation.
