The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the death benefits and all consequential benefits including the fixing of the family pension to the petitioner by considering the application dated 25.09.2023 submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-D. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:4368 WP No. 105180 of 2024 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ Papers with care. 4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition is confined only to consider the representation as far as the release of death benefits and all consequential benefits. Counsel therefore, submits that an appropriate order may be passed. 5. The oral submission made by the counsel for the petitioner is placed on record. 6. A mandamus is ordered directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation/application dated 25.09.2023 submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-D as far as the release of death benefits and all consequential benefits is concerned within eight weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law. 7.
