The petitioners pray for protection of their lives and liberty on account of the fact that they apprehend threat from respondent No.4 to 11 (relatives of petitioner No.1). 2. On 18.06.2025, learned State counsel was directed to take instructions. 3. Today, Sh. Salil Sabhlok, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from HC Gurpreet Singh, submits that respondent No.4 to 11 have undertaken not to interfere in the lives of the petitioners. He submits that whenever the petitioners feel threatened, they can approach the concerned Station House Officer (SHO), who will take prompt action. 4. Keeping in view the aforesaid assurance, the present petition is disposed of by directing the concerned SHO to take prompt action, if the petitioners express any threat to their lives and liberty.
