This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5 and not to interfere and harass the petitioners and to direct the official respondents to ensure the security of life and liberty of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that though the petitioners are major, petitioner No.2 has not yet attained the age of 21 years. He submits that the petitioners intend to solemnize marriage once petitioner No.2 attains the age of 21 years. He further submits that the petitioners apprehend threat to their lives from respondents No.4 and 5. The copies of 'Aadhaar' cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) of petitioners No.1 and 2 have been placed on record.

Without commenting upon the merits of the petition, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 11.06.2025 (Annexure P-3) and take requisite action, if so warranted, as per the facts and circumstances of the matter in accordance with law.
