JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging the willful disobedience of the order dated 05.07.2022 passed in W.P.No.4469/2021. Paragraph No.3 of the order reads as under: "Admittedly, the respondent has executed a sale deed in respect of Site No.853 in favour of the petitioner. In view thereof, I am of the considered opinion that it is the duty of the respondent-Bangalore Development Authority to locate the property, demarcate the boundaries and display the site number on the said property. Hence, the respondent is directed to do the needful in terms of the above within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order." 2. Learned counsel for the respondent/accused has filed a memo along with order dated 11.08.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (C) Diary - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:48013-DB C.C.C. No.51/2023 No.26174/2025, wherein the Hon'ble Supreme Court has ordered to maintain the status quo. It is submitted that in view of the said order, the authority is unable to implement the order of the learned Single Judge. 3. In view of the order of status-quo granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on the petition filed by the land owner, the contempt proceedings are dropped with liberty to the complainant to file a fresh contempt petition after disposal of the SLP.
