The petitioner herein prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for appointment of a warrant officer to search the premises of respondent No.4 and release detenue Sanjana Rani aged about 17 years, daughter of the petitioner. 2. From the assertions made in the petition, it is evident that Sanjana Rani is married with respondent No.4 and they applied for protection of their lives and liberty, which was allowed on 04.03.2025. The petitioner claims that Sanjana Rani is a minor and in the previous petition, a false matriculation certificate was produced. 3. It is evident that Sanjana Rani and respondent No.4 have entered into a wedlock. 4. Whether the certificate produced by Sanjana Rani is forged or not is required to be decided after leading evidence. Moreover, Sanjana Rani is not illegally confined by respondent No.4. 5. Hence, the petitioner, if so, advised may avail alternative remedy. 6. Disposed of accordingly.
