The petitioner seeks directions that the respondents/authorities may be directed not to demolish the residential building/premises of the petitioner without following due procedure of law. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with regard to some FIR, the police are investigating the role of the son of the petitioner, but the respondents/authorities have also started measuring the residential building of the petitioner. Petitioner apprehends that it may be demolished without following due procedure of law. Learned State Counsel was required to get instructions in the matter. Today, learned State Counsel, under instructions, would submit that uptil date, no steps have been taken with regard to the demolition of the house of the petitioner, and in case any such proceeding is undertaken in future, it will be done after following due procedure of law. The written instructions, as given, have been tendered for the perusal of the Court. Let it be taken on record. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel.
