Advocate for the respondent(s):
B E F O R E HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH
ORDER 18.08.2025
None appears on behalf of the petitioners on call.
2. It is seen that the petitioners have also not taken steps upon the sole respondent as directed and as such, the present contempt proceedings has been pending since 2016.
3. Further to that, this Court is also of the opinion that the allegation so made in the instant contempt proceedings does not appear to be a willful or deliberate violation of the orders passed by this Court thereby requiring the exercise of jurisdiction under the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 or even under Article 215 of the Constitution.
4. Consequently, the contempt proceedings stands dropped.
