1. By the present petition the petitioner is questioning the reduction of salary from Rs. 14,400/- to Rs. 7,300/-. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently posted as peon at C.G. Social Audit Unit, C.G, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Raipur. He further submits that the petitioner has been receiving salary of Rs. 14,400/- till November, 2024, however from the month of December, 2024 the amount of salary has been reduced to Rs. 7,300/- without any notice or without any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has submitted representations to the various authorities vide Annexure P-5 including respondent No. 3, however the same has not been considered by the respondents. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has already submitted representation raising his grievance before the concerned authority i.e. respondent No. 3 and he will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and representation filed along with the petition. 5. Perusal of the pleadings of the petitioner shows, that petitioner was receiving salary of Rs. 14,400/- however, all of a sudden, from the month of December, 2024 quantum of salary has been reduced to Rs. 7,300/-.
Considering the same, respondent No. 3, is directed to consider the
3 grievance of the petitioner by providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/-
