By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioners are seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4 to 21. 2. Counsel for the petitioners has produced marriage photographs of the petitioners today in Court. The same are taken on record as mark ‘X’. Registry is directed to tag the same at appropriate place. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Akhil Kamra, AAG, Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. 5. As per petitioners, they have married on 05.06.2025 against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 21, who happen to be the relatives of petitioner No.1 i.e. Kamaldeep Kaur. Both the petitioners claim themselves to be major stating that petitioner No.1-Kamaldeep Kaur is 21.07.2006 born and petitioner No.2-Gursharan Singh is 04.05.1993 born as per their Aadhar Cards. 7. Without commenting on the legality and validity of the marriage, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 06.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioners. 8. Keeping in view the fact that both the petitioners claim to have married, I think that if possible, respondent No.2 may call a meeting of the petitioners as well as respondents No.4 to 21 in his presence, so that the parties get rid off their ill feelings and live amicably. 9.
