HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:48911 WP No. 14693 of 2020
Suffice it to note that the petitioner was working as a driver cum conductor in the establishment of the corporation. He came under disciplinary proceedings and was visited with an
order of punishment. The petitioner, being a workman, cannot challenge the punishment order by invoking a writ jurisdiction. Hence, I decline to exercise power under writ jurisdiction. Resultantly, the writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner may approach the appropriate forum, if so advised, if the law permits. Because of dismissal of Writ Petition, pending interlocutory applications if any are disposed of and interim relief if any stands discharged.
