Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. A perusal of the complaint lodged by the petitioner reveals that, on 30.08.2023, some private persons had cut down trees situated in Survey No.13/2, Kottachedu Village, Servarayan Forest Range, Yercaud Taluk, Salem District, which is classified as Government poramboke land. Further, the petitioner had also filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.25002 of 2024 seeking a direction to the authorities concerned to take appropriate action for illegal felling of trees in Survey No.13/2 of Kottachedu Village, Servarayan Forest Range, Yercaud Taluk, Salem District, which is pending. It is further seen that the petitioner lodged the present complaint after a delay of one and a half years from the date of the alleged occurrence. Therefore, the Trial Court rightly dismissed the petition seeking direction under Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 4.
