Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to conduct fair and impartial inquiry in respect of the act and conduct of respondents No.4 to 6 for setting the house of the petitioner on fire. Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that respondents No.4 and 5, who are running pre-school in neighbourhood of petitioner used to uproot the plants planted by the petitioner in front of his house to maintain greenery in the area, on the pretext of hindrance being caused in parking of their vehicles as well as vehicles of the parents of school children. On 27.04.2025, respondents No.4 and 5 uprooted the plants and misbehaved with the petitioner. On 28.04.2025, the wife of the petitioner was beaten by respondents No.4 and 5 and other persons and while using derogatory words the wife of the petitioner as well as one old lady were attempted to be hit by car bearing No.CH01-CS-5739 driven by respondent No.5, due to which the old lady sustained injuries. The matter was reported to the police but no action was taken. In this regard, a complaint was given to DSP, Kharar, on 28.04.2025. As a counter blast to the said complaint, respondent No.4 got one FIR lodged against the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner moved representation dated 03.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) before respondent No.2, but no action on the same has been taken till date. During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied if the representation dated 03.05.2025 (Annexure P-3), which had already been moved by the petitioner is looked into. Notice of motion. Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 03.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) is looked into. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S.
