(ORAL) Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (For short “BNSS”), the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.102 dated 20.05.2025 under Sections 108, 190 BNS, registered at Police Station Bhikhi, District Mansa.
2. On 13.06.2025, following order had been passed: -
“ Contends, inter alia, that co-accused, namely, Chamkaur Singh and others with similar allegations have already been granted interim protection by this Court vide order dated 09.06.2025 passed in CRM-M-31930-2025. Notice of motion. Mr. Prit Inder Pal Singh, learned Addl.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent; seeks time to have instructions and/or to file written response in the matter. Posted for 08.07.2025. In the meanwhile, petitioners shall join investigation before the Investigating Officer; but they be not arrested till the next date of hearing. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that in compliance of the order dated 13.06.2025, the petitioners have joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Darshan Singh, has submitted that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required for further investigation.
5. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 13.06.2025 is made absolute. The petitioners shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
