Sri.M.E.Nagesh., counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Rajakumar.M., AGA for respondents 1 and 2 have appeared in person. 2. Though the matter is listed today for preliminary hearing, with the consent of counsel for the respective parties it is heard. 3. The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to endorse the variation granted by the KSTA as per proceedings dated 02.12.2023, decision pronounced on 02.02.2024, pertaining to Sl.No.240, subject No.55/2023 as per Annexure-B.
4. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 5. Suffice it to note that the petitioner has submitted an application for variation of condition of permit to Karnataka State Transport Authority. The KSTA directed the RTO, Electronic City to submit a survey report. The survey report is

submitted by the RTO on 18.01.2025. The grievance of the petitioner is that after receipt of the survey report, the decision has not been taken by the KSTA as of today. Hence, he is before this Court seeking a mandamus to direct the KSTA to take a decision immediately. It appears that the grievance of the petitioner is genuine. Hence, this Court deems it proper to direct the KSTA to take a decision in the matter on or before 31.08.2025, if not already considered as of today.
The compliance report to be submitted by the second respondent to this Court on 03.09.2025. 6. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. Sd/- (JYOTI MULIMANI) JUDGE
