Learned State Counsel has submitted that a speaking order has already been passed in the representation dated 02.06.2025 (Annexure P-3) by the authorities concerned and has produced the copy of the same along with the statement of petitioners, which is taken on record. He has furnished a copy of the order to counsel for the petitioners. The statement of petitioner No.1 is reproduced hereinbelow :- Anuradha 2025.06.18 22:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRWP-6288-2025 (O&M) 2 ‘Stated that I am resident of the above mentioned address and my date of birth is -01.01.2002. I am BCA passed. I am acquainted with ravi Kumar since last one year and in February 2025 we became friends. On 01.05.2025 i left the house with Ravi Kumar. My parents were not happy with this and they used to forbid me to do so. I started to live with Ravi in relation. As my parents did not like this so we file a petition for protection at Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh. Now I am resinding with Ravi Kumar on rented accommodation with my in-laws. Now I have not any threat from my family members. If the need arises for the security we will give the application. Statement recorded, heard and the same is correct.’ In light of the above, counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press this petition further. The petitioners would be at liberty to file appeal, as is stipulated in the Standard Operating Procedure, in the light of notification No.HOMEHM-40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch)., in case of any grievance left after passing of the speaking order.
