The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandil P.S. Case No. 205 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 96/137(2)/115(2)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 9 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil. On 22.08.2024, petitioner is alleged to have eloped with the daughter of the informant. The informant somehow managed to bring her back home. It was submitted that no physical relationship was established by the petitioner with the victim. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil, in connection with Chandil P.S.
