Case No. 132 of 2024, S.T. Case No.410 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 304, 306 & 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Smt. Kashika M. Prasad, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Hazaribag. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased namely Rekha Devi, who committed suicide by jumping in front of a trailer. She was taken to hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. It was submitted that the deceased committed suicide because she was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. However, it was further submitted that no case under Section 304-B of the Indian Penal Code was instituted. Mr. P. D. Agrawal, learned Spl.P.P. on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the deceased was taken to hospital belatedly, due to which, she died. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt. Kashika M. Prasad, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Hazaribag, in connection with Chouparan P.S. Case No. 132 of 2024, S.T. Case No.410 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
