(ORAL) Learned Senior Counsel representing the petitioner has produced a copy of summons allegedly received by Mr. Ashish Shally, Legal Branch, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, however, in absence of authentication from district Court official, it will not be appropriate to rely upon the same. The petitioner, herein, prays for issuacnce of directions to Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar to issue 'No Dues Certificate' while asserting that the petitioner has already completed its job which was allocated to it on 20.03.2017. It is contended that fresh tender is scheduled to be open tomorrow, i.e. 12.06.2025, and in the absence of 'No Dues Certificate', the petitioner shall stand deprived of participating in the fresh tender. It is clarified that the Municipal Commissioner will pass an appropriate order in accordance with law uninfluenced by the directions issued by this Court. However, the allocation of new contract for media space available on unipoles, LED, gantries, public utility, foot-over Bridges, kiosks on electricity poles, fly-over columns/pillars and bus que shelters etc. shall not be finalized till the Commissioner passes an order on the application of the petitioner.
