(Oral) This petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to the official respondent(s) to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondent Nos.4 to 6 (arrayed in the petition) and to take action on their representation dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P1). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have filed a representation dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P1) before respondent No.2 raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioners and to take necessary action thereupon. 3. Needless to say, if any threat perception is found to the petitioners, the official respondents would provide them adequate security in order to protect their life and liberty.
