Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Petitioner by means of present writ petition has prayed for the following relief: "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow application and direct the respondents/authorities/specifically the respondent no.3 issue a passport in favour of petitioner in respect of application reference No.25-0003732950 and application No.L.K. 4060849759025 dated 08.03.2025 fourthwith in accordance with law, so that justice be done, otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury." 3. Petitioner has applied for issuance of passport. According to the petitioner, the respondent no.3-Regional Passport Officer, Varanasi has neither issued the passport nor has passed any order for grant of issuance of passport. 4. Since, the decision in respect of issuance of the passport is to be taken by respondent no.3, accordingly, petitioner is permitted to file a representation before respondent no.3-Regional Passport Officer, Varanasi within a period of three weeks from today. On filing the said representation, respondent no.3 shall consider and decide the application for issuance of passport to the petitioner in the light of the judgment in Writ-C No.41540 of 2023, Pawan Kumar Rajbhar Vs. Union of India & others, within a period one month from the date, the representation of the petitioner is received by respondent no.3.
