By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the notice dated 16/01/2025 (Annexure P/1) issued by respondent No.2/ Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education by which the respondent/ Board has directed the petitioner to deposit the 2 / 2 amount of Rs.70,000/- i.e. the late fees for renewal of affiliation of session 2003-04 as well as the year 2007-18 of the petitioner/ School. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be granted some time to deposit the amount as demanded by the respondent/ Board from the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/ Board submits that the Board has already issued three notices to the petitioner but till date, the petitioner has not paid the amount which has been directed to be paid by the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the documents and the notice dated 16/01/2025 (Annexure P/1). 5. From perusal of the said notice, it appears that the Board has directed the petitioner to deposit the amount of penalty due to delay in making payment of affiliation fee for the period 2003-04 and 2007-18 but till date, the petitioner has not paid the same. 6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to deposit the amount which has been demanded by the respondent No.2/ Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education vide notice dated 16/01/2025 (Annexure P/1) within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
