Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned AGP for Respondent-Scrutiny Committee. 2. By this Writ Petition, the petitioner takes an exception to order dated 16.10.2025 passed by Respondent- Scrutiny Committee thereby invalidating the caste claim of the Petitioner of belonging to ‘Thakur’, Scheduled Tribe. 3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that Respondent- Scrutiny Committee failed to consider that there are four caste validities granted by Respondent- Scrutiny Committee itself as well as three by this Court to the blood relatives of the Petitioner from paternal side and proceeded to invalidate the caste claim of the Petitioner. 4. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner invited our attention to Narwade/ 2025:BHC-AUG:31237-DB 2 wp-13009-2025.odt one such order passed by this Court in a group of Writ Petitions dated 05.11.2023 in Writ Petition No.8477 of 2022 as well as Writ Petition No.7908 of 2022, wherein this Court after considering the earlier validities, have granted validities to those petitioners who are blood relatives of the Petitioner from paternal side. In that view of the matter, we pass the following order :- :: ORDER :: i. Impugned order dated 16.10.2025 is quashed and set aside. ii. Respondent- Scrutiny Committee shall issue the Validity Certificate to the petitioner of ‘Thakur’, Scheduled Tribe. iii. The validity granted in favour of the Petitioner would be subject to outcome of the re-opening of the caste claims of those validity holders. iv.
