The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Nagri P.S. Case No. 138 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 02/2025, for the offence registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Ranchi. 3. On 05.07.2024, Nagri police, on the basis of confidential information, apprehended the co-accused Sajjad Ansari and on search, 206 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from his possession. 4. It was submitted that petitioners were neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from their possession. It was further submitted that names of the petitioners have come in confession of apprehended accused Sajjad Ansari. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused namely Taufique Ansari @ Jaila has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 10954/2024. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal Judicial Commissioner- cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Ranchi in connection with Nagri P.S.
