Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate Writ, Order and Direction and direct the Respondent No.1, Bar Council of India, to consider the representation dated 02.06.2025 submitted by the petitioner, to issue a letter confirming that the Respondent No.3, Sharada Vikas School of Excellence for Law affiliated to Respondent No.2, Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) is recognized by the Bar Council of India at Annexure-A. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50448 WP No. 31547 of 2025 b. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate Writ, Order and Direction and direct the Respondent No.1 to update its "Approved List of CLE's (Law Colleges/Universities)" published on its websites, to reflect the Extension of Approval of Affiliation/Recognition granted to the Respondent No.3, institution for the year 2021-2024 (Annexure-H). c. Issue a Writ in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate Writ, Order and Direction and direct the Respondent No.3, institution to consider the representation dated 27.05.2025, confirming its recognition by the Bar Council of India for the law program intake for the year 2021-2024 and to reflect the same on its website at Annexure-D. d. Grant such other relief/s this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 - Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) has produced a memo dated 03.12.2025 along with Notifications granting renewal of affiliation for respondent No.3 - College, where the petitioner is studying up to the year 2025-26. 3. Accordingly, nothing further survives for consideration in the present petition except directing respondent No.1 - Bar Council of India to update its "Approved List of CLE's (Law Colleges/Universities)" publish on its website portal, to reflect the extension of Approval of affiliation granted to respondent No.3 - Institution up to the academic year 2025-26 by issuing certain conditions. I proceed to pass the following; ORDER (i) The petition is hereby disposed of. (ii) In view of the Affiliation Notifications, which indicate that respondent No.2 - KSLU has granted renewal of affiliation in favour of respondent No.3 - College up to the academic year 2025-26, respondent No.1 - Bar Council of India is directed to update its "Approved List of CLE's (Law Colleges/Universities)" publish on its website portal, to reflect the extension of Approval of affiliation granted to respondent No.3 - Institution up to the academic year 2025-26 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
