The instant writ petition has been filed seeking for the following reliefs:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the sealed-lock from the entrance gate of the petitioner-school before 01.07.2025 in the interest of justice. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No. 3/ District Basic Education Officer, Muzaffarnagar to decide the show cause proceedings before 01.07.2025 in the interest of justice." 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the controversy involved in the present case is with regard to re- opening of the School on 01.07.2025 after the conclusion of summer vacations in June. It is undisputed fact that the said School is duly recognized upto Class VIII. Therefore, the action of respondent no. 3 for putting sealed lock on the entrance is uncalled of, arbitrary and unjust. 3. At this juncture, if the sealed lock of the entrance gate will not be open, the future of more than 365 students will be at stake. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has stated that the relief as has been prayed for by the counsel for the petitioner has already been granted and as such no cause of action survives to keep the matter pending. 5. Taking into consideration, the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. 6.
