The petitioners pray for grant of pre-arrest bail in a criminal case arising from FIR No.0012, dated 13.03.2025, registered under Section 409, 419, 420, 467, 471 IPC and Section 13(2), 13(1)(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, at Police Station ACB Ambala, District Anti Corruption Bureau, Haryana. 2. The FIR has been registered on account of strong observations made by this High Court in Civil Writ Petition No.5898 of 2022 (Jasbir Ram vs. State of Haryana and others), decided on 09.05.2024. It was prima-facie found that the officials of the Haryana Seeds Development Corporation (HSDC) are making incorrect entries in the record with respect to sale of seeds of wheat crop. Pursuant thereto, the FIR has been registered and the matter is under investigation. Evidently, the police is making attempt to unearth the entire racket. The grant of pre-arrest bail may result in obstructing the investigation in a proper manner.
