(Oral) This petition under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS, 2023) has been filed seeking direction to the official respondents No.2 and 3 to not to harass the petitioners in connection with FIR No.57 dated 22.04.2025, under Sections 103, 351(2), 191(3) & 190 of BNS and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka and to take action on their representation dated 02.06.2025 (Annexure P3). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have filed a representation dated 02.06.2025 (Annexure P3) before respondent No.2 raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioners and to take necessary action thereupon. 3. Needless to say, if any threat perception is found to the petitioners, the official respondents would provide them adequate security in order to protect their life and liberty.
