2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the Assistant Commissioner, initiating suo motu action in proceedings bearing No. LND/SC.ST/ 23/2015-16 where the petitioner herein being the purchaser is respondent No.2 and Sri. Narayanaswamy one of the vendors is respondent No.1, the Assistant Commissioner dismissed the proceedings and upheld the sale deed dated 29.04.2013 executed in favour of the petitioner, but, no steps have been taken by the Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records.

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37322 WP No. 28214 of 2025
3. However, learned High Court Government pleader points out to Annexure-J which is a recent mutation order passed by the Tahsildar on 04.09.2025 entering the name of Smt. Narayanamma and others as the khatedars. Learned High Court Government Pleader would therefore submit that the petitioner is required to raise challenge to the mutation order passed by the Tahsildar in accordance with law.
4. There is substance in the submission made by the leaned High Court Government Pleader. The Tahsildar passed an order mutating the name of some other persons in the RTC, and if the petitioner is aggrieved of the same, the petitioner will have to raise a challenge to the mutation order in terms of Chapter -XI of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. With these observations, writ petition stands
disposed of.
