The following prayers have been made in the writ petition: "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 and 3 to remove the illegal encroachment made by the respondent no.4 to 11 from the house of the petitioners situated in front of C.O. Office, Etawah Road Bharthana, Village Kandhesi, District Etawah of Gata No.139M area 0.4050. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 27.08.2024 (Annexure No.4 to the writ petition) within a time bound period as may be directed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. The case of the petitioners is that their rights as senior citizens are being interfered with by respondents no.4 to 11 as they are threatening to evict the petitioners from their house. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly concedes that the petitioners have remedies available to them under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 4.
