Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief:- “a). to issue a writ of certiorari or direction in nature thereof, quashing the impugned order dated 08.02.2023 being Annexure P-7 of the writ petition to the extent it grants only notional benefit to the petitioner, as unconstitutional and illegal and contrary to the law; (b) to issue a writ of mandamus, appropriate writ, order or direction in nature thereof, directing the respondent department to regularize the petitioner as Lecturer wef 01.09.2014 on actual basis with all consequential benefits for all purposes and intents alongwith arrears with interest thereon @ 18% pa;” 2. Following order was passed in the matter on 29.11.2024:- “Notice of this petition was issued on 22.06.2023, reply has not been filed by the respondents till date. -2- Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is covered under the decision dated 27.04.2023 rendered in CWP No.1893/2021(Arun Kumar Vs. State of H.P. & Ors.). Respondents by way of final opportunity, are granted two weeks time to file reply inter-alia responding to the above contention. List thereafter.” 3. During hearing of the case, learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record office order dated 22.05.2025 and on that basis submits relief prayed for by the petitioner has now been granted to him. The operative part of the office order reads as under:- “Now therefore, in view of the facts and circumstances of the case the services of Sh. Sunder Singh Tagore Lecturer History is hereby regularized w.e.f. 18.12.2014 on actual basis instead of notional basis. The Principal Government Girls Senior Secondary School Rampur Bsr. Distt. Shimla is hereby directed to release the due and admissible arrear to the petitioner immediately and send the case for ACPs and Seniority within a week to this Directorate.” 4. In view of the above, this writ petition to stand disposed. Petitioner is, however, at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for redressal of his surviving grievances, if any.
