GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in threatening the petitioners to compromise with the 5th respondent in C.C.No. 225 of 2019 on the file of Spl. JFCM for trial of Cases under A.P. Prohibition and Excise Act cum III Addl. Junior Civil Judge, Anantapuramu by paying the money as demanded by the 5th respondent as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and violation of the petitioners rights guarantee under Article 14, 19(g), 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's rights and liberties.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that Police are not calling and insisting the Petitioners to compromise C.C.No. 225 of 2019 on the file of the Court of Spl. Judicial First Class Magistrate for trial of Cases under A.P. Prohibition and Excise Act-cum- III Addl. Junior Civil Judge, Anantapuramu. 3. None represented for the Petitioners. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to insist the Petitioners to compromise the above case. There shall be no order as to costs.
