1. This is an ofÏce reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 26.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5269 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Lalit Sharma, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment.

2 Khairagarh-Chuikhadan-Gandai (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 21.01.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial.

It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and the case was fixed for the accused statement and the accused person(s) will be given opportunity for further defence evidence(if any) after which the case would be listed for the Final arguments. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further six months time for concluding the same.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
