The mother of the convict, viz., Vanitha, aged 36 years, has filed this writ petition challenging the impugned order dated 16.10.2025 by which the petitioner’s request for ordinary leave for the convict has been rejected on the ground that the convict has not completed one year since she had returned from the earlier leave on 04.06.2025. 2. It is seen that as on date, one year has elapsed from the convict’s return to jail after her earlier leave.
