This Court, vide order dated 04.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 2608 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Savan Kumar Kewat @ Chhotu and Amit Kewat @ Betu, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Bilaspur, District-Bilaspur (C.G.), vide his request letter dated 20.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the statements of 17 prosecution witnesses have left to be examined. Considering the number of witnesses in this case, it is likely to take some time for its conclusion, therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
