ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs:
“(i) Issue a writ of mandamus against respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider her representation dated 19.08.2020 at Annexure-C and sanction her claim of family pension of her deceased husband in petitioner’s name. (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus to respondent No.3 to consider the direction of respondent No.2

vide communication dated 29.01.2022 vide Annexure-M. (iii) Issue a writ of mandamus to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to issue a family pension book in petitioner’s name.”
2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband Chokkalingam was working as an Assistant Engineer in the first respondent - Corporation. He attained the age of superannuation on 28.02.2014. Thereafter, pension has been sanctioned to the petitioner’s husband and he died on 14.08.2020 vide Annexure-B. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 19.08.2020 vide Annexure-C to the second respondent for processing the pension papers of the petitioner. Since, no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 19.08.2020 for sanction of the family pension to her. Even today, no action has been taken. Therefore, it is suffice for

this Court to direct the third respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure- C, dated 19.08.2020, as expeditiously as possible, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the writ petition stands
disposed of.
