This Court, vide order dated 16.07.2024 passed in CRMP No. 670 of 2024, while dismissing the said petition, had the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 months, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment. The learned 6th Additional Sessions Judge, Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 14.01.2025 has requested for grant of four moths further time for concluding the trial because examination 08 prosecution witnesses are yet to be done, hence, the conclusion of the trial may take some more time.
4. The request appears to be reasonable. As requested, further four months time is granted for disposal of the said case. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within the stipulated period.
5. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
6. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance.
