Prayer in the instant criminal writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 (Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana and Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, District Kurukshetra, respectively) to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondent No. 5 (Incharge, CIA-I Staff, Kurukshetra), who is threatening to implicate them in a false criminal case as the petitioners' family had approached twice this Court by way of filing habeas corpus petitions. 2. In the context of threat perception, the petitioners have moved representation dated 03.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) to respondents No. 2 and respondent No. 3 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana and Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, wherein, the threat perception to implicate them in a false criminal case has been expressed; however, it is stated that no action has been taken thereon. 3. Mr. S.K. Panwar, Additional A.G. Haryana, who is present in Court, has appeared on behalf of respondent No. 3 (State of Haryana) and states that the claim/grievance of the petitioners shall be looked into by the respondent authorities. 5. In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioners in the representation, the present petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 3-Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra; to look into the representation dated 03.06.2025 (Annexure P-2), submitted by petitioners qua threat perception to implicate them in a criminal case, if any, and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law, to ensure that life and liberty of the petitioners is not jeopardized. 6. However, this order shall also not be taken to protect the petitioners from legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by them, in accordance with law. 7.
