The petitioner is challenging the in-action action on part of the 5th respondent in not completing the investigation and filing of final report/charge sheet in FIR.No.165 of 2020. The petitioner complained about the incident of theft at his house and had complained to the police for completing investigation. Though a crime was registered, the petitioner alleges that the 5th respondent has not taken up any interest in completing the investigation. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that the case was referred as undetectable and permission was accorded by the Superintendent of Police, Guntur to refer the case as undetectable vide proceedings dated 30.07.2023. It is also stated that any clues are found, the case would be reopened and reinvestigate the case. The learned Assistant Government Pleader further submits that final report is already filed. 3. Recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, no further orders are required in this case and leaving it open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps if any evidence is found. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
