This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). This contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 13.01.2025 passed in W.P.(C) No.475 of 2024. The operative part of the order reads as follows: “Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.3 to dispose of the L.A. Case No. 18 of 2000 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. It is further directed that in case the application of the petitioner under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 is allowed, and there is no other legal impediment, the compensation amount be disbursed in favour of the petitioner within a period of two months thereafter.” Learned counsel for the State has produced the letter dated 28.10.2025 issued by the Special L.A. & R.R.O., Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar (Nuapada) wherein it is stated that the estimated amount of Rs.27,82,946/- towards decretal dues has been sanctioned by the Government in Water Resources Department and three weeks time is required for disbursement of the same in favour of the petitioner. The letter is taken on record. In view of the letter, since the order dated 13.01.2025 passed in W.P.(C) No.475 of 2024 has been complied with, this contempt petition is accordingly dropped. ( S.K.
