The grievance of the petitioners is that respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Channapatna Taluk, has not considered the representation given by the petitioners at Annexure-A dated 12.09.2024. It is stated in the representation that by virtue of the orders passed by the Land Tribunal, Channapatna, on 05.10.1981 in the case bearing LRF.No.16-52/1975-76, occupancy rights have been conferred on the petitioners. The writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, to verify the records and secure information from the land tribunal as to whether the facts narrated by the petitioners are true. If it is found that such an order was indeed passed by the land tribunal and the petitioners are entitled to have their names entered in the land records and for issuance of Form-10, the Thasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders in that regard, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:29380 WP No. 19297 of 2025 Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
