Learned counsel states that in the index of the petition, reference had been made to pendency of CWP been decided on 14.10.2024 by this Court in a batch of petitions with the lead case being CWP-19204-2024, in terms of the judgment in Sharma and others vs. State of Punjab and another IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 10564-CWP-2025 and 10565-CWP-2025 in/and CWP-16294-2023 (O & M) Date of decision: 04.08.2025 ....Petitioners ...Respondents BLE MR. Annexure P-A is taken on record, With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the main Learned counsel states that in the index of the petition, reference had been made to pendency of CWP-7440-2022, which has been decided on 14.10.2024 by this Court in a batch of petitions with the 2024, in terms of the judgment in Saurabh Sharma and others vs. State of Punjab and another, CWP-15896- PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.08.05 18:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment. CWP-16294-2023 -2- 2023, which was allowed on 13.09.2024, pursuant to the same, vide orders dated 09.07.2025, 01.08.2025, 11.07.2025, 30.07.2025 and 10.07.2025, relief stands granted to the said petitioners. He, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioners, taking into consideration the afore- submissions, in a time bound manner. 2. Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 3. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioners, taking note of the aforesaid judgments as also the orders passed thereupon, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith.
