One of the prayers made in the writ petition is to challenge the policy notified on 25.07.2023, whereby Online transfer was made permissible. Various grounds have been urged in order to state that the policy in so far as it permitted outsiders to occupy the cadre post is bad in law. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent-State has produced notification dated 23.05.2025, whereby the transfer policy effected earlier vide notification dated 25.07.2023 has been withdrawn. In that view of the matter, the challenge to the transfer policy dated 25.07.2023 loses its significance. 3. Since no other prayer is made in the writ petition, as such this petition is rendered infructuous.
