Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case DDR/GD No.40 dated 12.11.2024 under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS at Police Station Sadar Faridkot, District Faridkot (Section 118(2) of BNS) was added later on vide DDR No.14 dated 13.01.2025 arising out of FIR No.217 dated 12.11.2024 under Sections 333, 115(2), 118(1), 3(5) of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Sadar Faridkot, District Faridkot (Annexure P-1). 2. In compliance of the previous order status report dated 05.07.2025 has been filed by the State by way of affidavit of Mr. Tarlochan Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Faridkot, District Faridkot, which is taken on record. Copy of the same has been supplied to the counsel for the petitioners. 3. Vide order dated 09.06.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioners were directed to join investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that in pursuance to the order passed by this Court, petitioners have joined the investigation and as such their interim bail may be made absolute. 5. In view of the above, interim order dated 09.06.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023. Petition stands allowed.
