Side) https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 17818 of 2025 ORDER The petitioner who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(i)(a) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956 in Crime No.6 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that, based on secret information, the respondent police went to the petitioner's spa and found that the petitioner and other accused were involved in prostitution. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he is sought to be implicated on the confession of co- accused; and that in any case, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required and prayed for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner has involved in running prostitution under the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 17818 of 2025 guise of spa. He further submitted that three victim girls were rescued. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader (Crl.side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the stage of investigation, possibility of abscondance and also considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
