The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the respondents to provide permanent electric connection by installing poles, transformer and isolator for the submersible pump. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has installed submersible pump in the land of the petitioner and applied for the electric connection for the said submersible pump. On receipt of the application the WBSEDCL has issued the quotation in favour of the petitioner for the said connection and the petitioner deposited the quotation bill upon compliance of all formalities. The WBSEDCL has given the electric connection for submersible pump temporarily by using bamboo and 10 mm wire. Now the petitioner claims that the temporary poles are to be replaced by the permanent poles and also the installation of isolator. 2 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that as per the application submitted by the petitioner, the WBSEDCL has provided the permanent electric connection to the petitioner through bamboo poles. Now the authorities are ready to change the bamboo poles to PCC poles subject to compliance of all formalities. 4. In view of the above, the respondent No.2 is directed to change the bamboo poles to that of the PCC poles within a period of four weeks on compliance of all formalities by the petitioner. 5. It is made clear that if any person/persons raise any objection for change of bamboo poles to that of the PCC poles, the concerned police authority shall provide necessary police assistance to the officials of the WBSEDCL for change of bamboo poles to that of the PCC poles for the electric connection to the petitioner. If any cost is required to be paid for police assistance, the same shall be paid by the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, WPA 25879 of 2025 is disposed of. 7. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8. Urgent Photostat certified copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
